Mallika Appana is a children's book author and illustrator who was born in Hyderabad, India. She is now based in Washington D.C., where she lives with husband and four-year old son. Although an engineer and MBA by training, she has long nurtured a passion for drawing, storytelling and ethnic crafts, which enabled her to release her first children's book titled 'My Trip to the Fair'. She hopes to release many more picture books in the future.
